If the existing system is documented and the devices still make sense, a takeover is cheaper than ripping it out. If nobody has a code, the signalling is dead, and the last engineer retired, we will quote a replacement instead of charging you to inherit a mystery.

Do you take over an existing alarm?
Often. If the panel, devices and signalling are sound we will take on maintenance and keyholder updates. If the system is a decade of add-ons with no drawing, we will say so before you pay for a takeover that cannot be supported.
