Managed Connectivity

Business internet that stays up when it has to.

Fast, reliable connectivity is the backbone of cloud apps, hosted phones and remote work. We source, install and monitor the right circuit for your site — then we own the outcome.

Managed Connectivity

How we deliver

Assess. Deploy. Keep improving.

1

Evaluate

We assess location, usage and current circuits, then recommend full fibre, SoGEA, leased line or 4G/5G — including failover.

2

Install

We arrange line provision, router setup and a clean handover, whether it is a head office or a remote site.

3

Optimise & support

We monitor performance, apply QoS where voice needs priority, and escalate faults directly with providers.

What’s included

Driving results without compromise

4G/5G backup & primary

Rural, temporary or failover: 4G/5G where copper cannot, or as a hot standby for the main circuit.

Security & QoS

Business-grade security and quality of service so voice, data and apps share the pipe without fighting.

Fibre built for uptime

Full fibre and SoGEA with static IPs, priority faults and no consumer-style throttling.

Business connectivity across Hampshire

If you rely on cloud applications, hosted phones, remote workers or online payments, the circuit has to be consistently fast and resilient. Axis IT works with leading UK network providers to source and manage the right solution for your site, budget and risk profile.

Full fibre broadband for business

FTTP delivers gigabit-capable speeds over fibre rather than the copper used by ADSL and FTTC. Where it is available it is usually the most cost-effective option for moderate usage. We handle provision, installation coordination and router setup.

Dedicated leased lines

For guaranteed, symmetrical bandwidth with an SLA, a leased line is the gold standard: exclusive, uncontended connectivity, typically 100Mbps to 10Gbps depending on location. Axis IT sources leased lines across Hampshire.

4G and 5G failover

No wired circuit is immune to outages. We recommend a 4G/5G failover that activates automatically — via a dual-WAN device or a separate router — so VoIP, cloud services and card payments keep running.

SD-WAN for multi-site businesses

SD-WAN combines fibre, leased line and 4G and routes traffic in real time, improving Microsoft 365 and other SaaS while failing over automatically. See also Ofcom’s business broadband guidance.

Fully managed with proactive monitoring

We track uptime, latency and performance and act before issues hit your team. One number to call, a team who already know the circuit, and direct escalation with the carrier.

Questions we often get asked

Still have questions? Contact us

Do you provide leased lines?

Yes. We source dedicated, uncontended leased lines across Hampshire, typically from 100Mbps to 10Gbps depending on site, with contractual SLAs for fault resolution.

What if our fibre goes down?

We recommend 4G or 5G failover that switches automatically, keeping VoIP, cloud apps and card payments running during an outage.

Can you manage several sites?

Yes. SD-WAN combines fibre, leased line and 4G, routing traffic in real time for Microsoft 365 and other cloud apps with automatic failover.
